Dropbox Announced New CMO
Cloud storage firm Dropbox has revealed the firm’s new chief marketing officer, Carolyn Feinstein, who will lead the company’s global marketing organisation and drive initiatives to develop the company’s brand.
“I’m thrilled to join the talented Dropbox team,” said Feinstein. “Dropbox is one of the few platforms that touches the lives of hundreds of millions of people, simplifying the way they work together. I’m really excited to work with the marketing team to continue building Dropbox’s beloved brand.”
Feinstein ran global consumer marketing at EA for over 15 years, developing brand campaigns for franchises including Madden Football, FIFA and The Sims. She was most recently responsible for the digital marketing strategy at Pure Storage, where she also developed brand and messaging architecture.
“Carolyn is a creative pioneer and strategic leader with almost two decades of digital marketing and branding expertise,” said Dennis Woodside, chief operating officer at Dropbox. “We look forward to having her lead our global marketing team as we continue building an enduring company.”
Zig Serafin Joins Qualtrics from Microsoft
Customer experience and insight platform Qualtrics has appointed Zig Serafin as its new chief operating officer to lead operations during its planned international expansion and rapid growth.
Serafin joins from Microsoft, where he spent 17 years leading large teams and building multi-billion dollar product lines. Most recently, he was corporate vice president for Office 365 and Skype for business, and also helped spearhead the firm’s AI and personal assistant projects.
“We are excited to bring an industry luminary of Zig’s caliber on board as we continue growing aggressively,” said Ryan Smith, CEO and co-founder of Qualtrics. “Qualtrics is scaling at an incredible rate and there’s no better person to help us add a new level of operational efficiency than Zig.”
New CEO Named at NetBooster Group
Thomas Armbruster is set to replace Tim Ringel as CEO of digital performance agency NetBooster Group, having spent six years at the firm, most recently as chief operating officer for the Group.
Ringel is standing down as CEO at the end of October due to personal reasons, but will remain as an independent board member. The change in leadership comes as NetBooster Group prepares for a new phase of international group, following a recent financial, operation and strategic restructuring.
“I’m honoured to be appointed as the CEO of NetBooster and I’m looking forward to bringing the company to the next level; delivering for our clients, staff and investors,” said Armbruster. “I will continue the strategic vision we have built for the NetBooster Group, as we aim to become the world’s leading independent performance marketing agency.”
Push Doctor Reveals New Non-executive Chair
Susanne Given, former chief operating officer at SuperGroup and current chairman at Made.com, will be joining the board of digital health service Push Doctor as its non-executive chair.
Given brings with her a wealth of experience working with major consumer-facing brands, including John Lewis, SuperDry and TK Maxx, and has demonstrated considerable skill at guiding businesses in their journey to become household names.

Josh Wallin Becomes Head of Sales at Tailify
Influencer marketing platform Tailify has unveiled its new head of sales, Josh Wallin, who joins the company from MediaMath, where he was director of strategic clients for EMEA.
Wallin will aid the Scandinavian firm as it launches in the UK, targeting media agencies and partnering with them to deliver creative, high impact campaigns for brands. He has 10 years experience at media agencies and ad tech platforms across search, social and programmatic, as well as a wealth of experience in creating ad tech platforms.
“Content marketing is one of the most exciting and fastest growing areas of advertise, but there’s a desperate need for strong data, insight and research to prove the true value,” said Wallin. “Tailify’s vision for a tech solution based on solid data is completely aligned with mine. I’m very excited to be part of their journey.”
