The last couple to take the dance floor is Simone Biles and Sasha Farber, dancing a tango to “Untouchable” by Tritonal and Cash Cash.
Carrie Ann Inaba calls them the “power couple” and Len Goodman adds that it was “crisp and clean.” He adds that it was the dance of the night. Julianne Hough says it was a great way to end the premiere episode. Bruno Tonioli commends her dance. They score a 32, the highest score of the night.
Tonight, “Dancing with the Stars” celebrates its 400th episode of glitz, glam and dancing. The dances featured on tonight’s two-hour-long premiere episode include the tango, cha cha, salsa, quickstep and Viennese waltz. Couples will have the chance to show America what they’re made of and put their best foot forward on the dance floor as they compete for the glittering Mirrorball trophy. The first couple will be eliminated next week.

According to ABC, Biles, 19, “is already considered one of the best and most decorated gymnasts in the history of the sport. She was adopted by her grandparents at a young age, and they have been a major influence in her life, introducing her to the sport of gymnastics. She was always jumping around at a young age and was introduced to the sport on a school field trip to Bannon’s Gymnastix at the age of six. While she trains close to 35 hours per week, Biles knows how to keep things fun and is known for inventing new skills during training.”
