Next up are Charo and Keo Motsepe, dancing a salsa to “Cuban Pete” by Mambo Compañeros.
Len Goodman calls it “action packed” but says she needs to work more on her technique. Julianne Hough says the dance was more than what she was expecting, while Bruno Tonioli adds his own Charo-inspired moves. Carrie Ann Inaba calls her turns “spectacular” and says she did great overall. They score a 21.
Tonight, “Dancing with the Stars” celebrates its 400th episode of glitz, glam and dancing. The dances featured on tonight’s two-hour-long premiere episode include the tango, cha cha, salsa, quickstep and Viennese waltz. Couples will have the chance to show America what they’re made of and put their best foot forward on the dance floor as they compete for the glittering Mirrorball trophy. The first couple will be eliminated next week.
